I choose Linux as the easy choice to make among the free operating systems.

The journey of using Arch isn’t easy. It’s even harder with ZFS as root. But here I am now. Thankfully I didn’t distro hop too much, and Arch is just the second distro I’ve used (not technically, but daily drove).

ZFS

ZFS has been an excellent filesystem for me. Learning how to manage it wasn’t easy. I have Aaron Toponce’s blog post series to thank for ZFS knowledge.

Git is universally accepted now

We’ve all universally agreed to using Git, saying goodbye to centralized version control systems.
